We've all been there. Just as you get settled into your evening routine, perhaps making dinner, watching your favorite television show, or chasing your kid around the house whose running from their pajamas; you hear a knock at your door. "That's strange", you say to yourself, "I wasn't expecting company". As you walk towards the door, you're hoping it isn't a salesman, and if it is someone selling something , you pray it's a girl scout selling their delicious cookies. You open the door to see that the person standing on the other side is in fact not a sweet little child with a box of gold in hand, but rather a grown adult who looks like they want to sell you something..... and they don't have girl scout cookies.
We cannot speak on behalf of every person that knocks door-to-door, nor do we want to, but the Pitch Perfect team does not believe in being "pushy". Going to door-to-door as a way to advertise our business is not just about "making a sell" for us. The bigger picture for our company, is that we make connections with people in our community and we know the best way to do that is face-to-face. Sure, using platforms on social media are faster ways to reach as many people as possible, but we still believe in the old fashioned way of connecting......having actual conversations. We also believe in quality over quantity. If you find a Pitch Perfect representative at your door, know that we are there to say hello. If the people we meet are in need of a service that we can provide, great. Otherwise, we still count the interaction as a win because we were able to connect on some level.
As we enter the season of giving thanks, we hope that we all can be more mindful of the ways in which we interact with one another. If you ever see us bundled up out there, we'd love to chat with you, so don't hesitate to say hello.
